When you send an enlistment form on this website and if you finally land yourself in Boot camp: let's face it, most DI's feel that you are probably a waste of time, going to fail anyway. Now when you're actually in Boot camp session, you want to show your Drill Instructor that you are material, and place your efforts to what your told. An assigned DER (Department of Enlistment and Recruitment) Drill Instructor will take you through the training process during a day training session to learn the ropes. The DER's job is to take recruits and members into training: where they can learn the skills needed to succeed in the UN's military. The recruitment process always starts when you send an enlistment form or when you contact a DI official, then your form is read, and based on the out look of your form, a DER official will contact you and judge weather you are eligible for the UN. After that if you are eligible, you will be contacted by your assigned DI, who's responsibility is to take you through several sessions throughout your stay, weather you make the UN or not. Remember, politeness, respect, and trust towards your recruiter, and DI is expected.
